What’s on my playlist? Every conceivable genre of music, frankly.  What is it about music, that can bridge cultures and generations to bring enjoyment to us both personally and collectively, that can both soothe us and make us dance, and serve as a unique vehicle for storytelling and self-expression?  I am awestruck at anyone’s ability to walk onto a stage, and captivate an audience with a song!

Most vivid moments:

·          Watching Glen Campbell sing “Wichita Lineman” on TV (remember Hee-Haw?) at my grandparents’ house.

·          In the mid-70s, making cassette tapes of Beatles albums (on vinyl and even 8-track tape) borrowed from the older neighborhood kids.  The band had long since split up, but I was in Beatlemania’s belated grip.
